Presentation
The mission of the Bioinformatics Unit is to provide and/or to develop computer-assisted tools and mathematical or statistical methodologies required for the storage, integration and analysis of microarray, biological and clinical data. Support and training is also given to users wishing to use bioinformatics tools (SRS, GCG), dedicated to applications in comparative genomics. The Bioinformatics Unit regroups a collection of software that is configured around the local main public biological databases as well as hardware and a system architecture, which are adapted to the local conditions and guarantee a robust access to these resources.
